Well I am, ALWAYS!
Wassup yo' guys who read this and still here, not moving an inch to click that Back button on the left side of the screen, or that X sign on the upper right? How y'all doin'? I know you won't ask 'cos you don't care (chos) what's up with me and suddenly a post in the middle of the night. Lol. Well, I've been missing in the platform since... I don't really remember when, and I realized I am still alive in the writings since last week of September, when I was able to post my very very very very very very super duper late blog about Coldplay Manila. HAHAHAHA! Yes, I am cruel that it took half a year to be able to post it. I mean, HELLO SELF, HOW HARD HAS IT BEEN TO MAKE A COLDPLAY BLOG? (angry emoticons) Well, to be honest, it's the VLOG that makes it hard. I was able to upload it on the airport last month, where the Wifi connection was very strong and fast, but unfortunately, the song was copyrighted again (sad face) so I thought I have to redo that again. And because I am not the techie person-slash-youtuber-slash-professional vlogger/blogger, I'll never be able to redo it again with a new music background (and I cannot purchase music either) so if the music was the real issue here, I know, I will chose to not deal with the problem, and keep the vlog in my drive. But, I still have the part two, the compilation of the recorded videos (with no backgrounds but my shouting and cheering voice and legit Coldplay's live performance), but I have to deal in finding stable internet connection cos that is what i don't have; always "the" internet. Tiwala, there will come a time that I will have that unlimited connection soon and I will always hang out with my blog whenever I'll have the urge to write.
Since I am missing the platform for too long, what had really happened to me?
Well, still dealing with work. The longer I stay here, the harder work gets, the greater the loads we've been handling, but the harder I strive and fight for it. Dahil ang trabahong ito ang tutustos sa Travel and Music Goals ko wuahahahahahah charot! But to be honest, I had spend too much of my sweldo on travelling (kahit bang lapit) and concerts. Juskopo. I might be telling myself that I am really a social climber. Travel now, concert there, kain kain also, poorita later.
And yet, no blogs about travelling and concerts posted.😐
Okay, I'll brief you some of my travels and concert experiences.
A week after Coldplay, I've been to Tagaytay with my ka-work-s (My Ate-s in Barangay) for Visita Iglesia. We've been to 6 Churches around Batangay and Tagaytay proper. Yes, we lacked one church because of that magnitude 5-point something when we were in Caleruega. So after visiting the market, we hurriedly head home. Still blessed cos we were all safe and sound.

On that same month, I fulfilled another concert goal: Switchfoot. Hindi ko talaga kabisado lahat ng kanta nila, except those from Mandy Moore's film "A Walk to Remember" because I still have the cassette tape of the OST of that movie (oha oha very nostalgic, eh). The gig happened at BGC Ampitheatre and it was soooo cool, cos we were able to watch inside for free! How? Nag-abang lang. Hindi napuno, so nagpapasok sila. Similar to my The Calling experience (The Gen Ad to VIP experience). After that Easter Sunday Gig, I've known their songs not just good music and eargasm but a way of giving Hope and Praise to Him.

Following a month of concert are months of catching up summer. That is where my friends and I headed to Zambales. Stayed at Crystal Beach Resort for two days and one rainy night, on a tent. It was fun. It was like an escape from working all weekdays. The waves and sand were all good. One of the best breakfast buffet I had.
A week after, Zambales was not enough for my beach thirst. Together with my colleagues, we escaped after weekdays work and explore Burias Island. It was not my first island hopping experience (cos we went island hopping also a week before, at Zambales) but this is way better than the last time. The island hopping experience was tiring but wonderful. The more the merrier ang peg namin for this trip. So two rainy weekend nights na kong natutulog sa tent. Medyo hindi na ko natutuwa sa ulan hahahahah! But charge it to experience. Kapag alam na sa tent matutulog, magdala ng kumot. 😜
Hindi pa talaga ako tapos sa mga concert experiences ko. Papalampasin mo ba ang pinakamalapit na pwedeng pagdausan ng concert? Hell, no! Went to a Silent Sanctuary gig at Vista Mall Antipolo. One of the wildest-slash-awkward gigs I've been to. Wildest cos ang sarap makipagrakrakan kapag alam mo yung lineup at free concert perks nanaman kayo ng friend mo. Awkward, cos I've been asking myself how old I am, at ang babata ng mga kasama mong manood. I feel so Tita. Haha! Still happy and contented.
Pag free concert kelangan ganyan kalapit. Tyagaan lang mga bes. Gawa ba kong blog post para sa free concert perks without backers? 😸 |
August. Five shows of LANY; my sister's been on two an I've been on one. Sa ILYSB lang ako noon nakakapit (dahil kay Clang) but my sister influenced me with a few more. I love Paul Jason Klein. He's like one of the Oppas of the Millenials. Tita nanaman po ang peg ko dito. Late boomer ba ko bakit ngayon ko lang finu-fulfill ang concert bucket lists ko?
malayo kay paul but that's okay cos free concert nga! |

Back to my hashtag travel goals. Spent 4 days and 3 night in a foreign land but looks like roaming around Manila-Makati-Taguig-Binondo: Hong Kong. Yes, I did not expect that I (we) would come up to travel far more than our own country for the first time ever. This, I'll make another blog post, with itinerary and expenses breakdown for reference (soon).
Uso sa post eto e. Pic for attention kuno. More of these soon. 😉 |
The year's still have three more remaining months, and I can't wait for the next adventures lining up for me. Two more concerts to be exact. I hope I would not be following this post with a year-ender, though I think I had written half of that post today haha! I promise I'll be working up with my internet cos I've been sick of it for too long. I missed writing and revamping this page. I'm this near in getting this blog a new domain, but too many things I have to deal with. Will be studying things around and deal with these one at a time, and when I'll be able to blog more often, we'll see what we can push through.
So I think this long enough for the catch up. I know I have too many writing and updating debts. Hush, self. Kaya natin ito. Haha!
